Frequently asked questions

Does EFT have harmful side effects?

EFT has no harmful side effects, but it is worth mentioning symptoms such as physical exhaustion after some deep sessions — as if you had done a tiring workout — headaches, and cold symptoms. And since EFT stirs up energies inside you that may have built up over years or even decades, releasing some memories uncovers deeper layers of memories. But keep in mind that this can also happen through the interactions of everyday life, in conversations with others or clashes with some people. This is how memory works: it places memories in different files, and opening one file can stir the pages of other files.

Does EFT help erase painful memories?

The answer is no! The memory remains. What is erased are the painful emotions attached to the memory — and that is the height of empowerment: the ability to draw lessons from experiences.

Is EFT safe with severe trauma?

It is one of the most powerful and gentle techniques for dealing with severe trauma, if it is applied correctly so as to respect the sensitivity of the depth and harshness of some traumas.

Are the results of release permanent?

If the technique is applied correctly, the answer is yes, the results are permanent — and by this I mean the results of releasing emotions related to a specific situation, not general emotions or a belief. If a certain feeling related to a situation we worked on comes back: * The situation we worked on may contain deeper layers that did not appear at the time of the work and have surfaced later — an opportunity for more release. * There may be resistance in the unconscious to fully releasing the situation, because of a secondary benefit that calls for holding on to these emotions — also an opportunity for more awareness and release. * The person themselves may have avoided mentioning certain details of the situation, believing they were unimportant, and these details played a role in the overall picture of the situation; since they were not addressed, the feeling reappeared.

What is the difference in results between the public videos on YouTube and private sessions?

The difference is very large — there is hardly any comparison. Public videos use general words that can touch most people’s feelings. In private sessions, however, the situations we work on are chosen methodically, intense emotions about certain events must be handled professionally and calmly, and the connections between different events and their effect on the present go deeper.
